Forge & Verse work remains protected by copyright unless a release explicitly says otherwise.
Free works
Each free release carries its own use note. Some are display pieces. Others are operational templates intended to be adapted inside an organization.
Unless a release grants broader permission, please do not:
- resell the file or a physical copy made from it
- upload the unaltered file as your own download
- use the work as a business logo or brand identity
- alter the work and present the result as an official Forge & Verse edition
Adaptable templates
When a release is identified as agency-adaptable or organization-adaptable, it may be modified, branded, reproduced, and used internally according to the permission stated on that release page. Attribution may be removed when the template becomes part of an organization’s own workflow.
Standalone resale of a free template is not permitted.
Sharing
Linking to the original release page is always welcome. Broader public redistribution should follow the permission stated on the release page.
Outside sources
When a work draws from licensed material, public-domain text, commentary, or another source, the page will identify that status. Display studies that are not cleared for release will not be offered as downloadable or purchasable editions.
Versions and file identity
The Release Desk publishes the current version and SHA-256 value for open releases and field proofs. The machine-readable ledger records the files that belong to each package. Checksums establish byte-for-byte file identity; they do not grant additional rights or replace local review.
